Psychology: Understanding your Emotions and Improving your Social Skills
Description
This course explains how individuals can understand their emotions and improve their social skills. The main objective of the course is to learn how to effectively communicate with people in order to de-escalate conflict situations, seek to understand all perspectives and express others’ needs. Participants learn to identify emotions and optimally map them to needs. Finally, this class leads participants in a journey of building a spherical understanding of the hurts, fears and desires that contribute to their self-perspective and helps them overcome self-defeating thoughts and behaviours.
The course is divided into four weekly modules and consists of three multiple-choice quizzes, each carrying an equal weight towards the final course grade. In order to successfully complete the course and obtain your certificate, you need to achieve an overall grade of 50% or above at the course quizzes.
