The CFA® Program is administered by CFA Institute and sets international standards for the investment industry.

Edge Designations provides tuition support for CFA students.The CFA Institute provides the accreditation. CFA students are required to register with CFA Institute for exams.

You can contact CFA Institute via their website www.cfainstitute.org and enrol online.

If you decide to join us at Edge for classes, there will be two fees.

Fee 1: This is the fee paid directly to CFA Institute. This is paid to enable the candidate to be a part of the CFA® Program and to write the CFA® exams. First time candidates have to pay an additional enrolment fee.

Fee 2: This is the fee paid to Edge. This fee is for face-to-face classes, online classes, revision classes, exam classes and ALL your study notes and summaries.

What do I need in order to enroll in the CFA® Program?

  1. You need to have one of the following:
    • A bachelors’ degree, OR
    • Be in the final year of your bachelors’ degree, OR
    • Have 4 years of professional work experience (does not need to be in the investment field).
    • Have a combination of professional work experience + University experience that total 4 years.
  2. You must have a valid International Passport
  3. You must meet the required professional conduct criteria

What is the quickest route to passing the exams?

Level I exams are written in June and December. Level II and Level III exams are written only in June. Level I and Level II examinations are multiple choice. Level III is 50% multiple choice and 50% constructed response (essays).

The quickest route to pass all the exams would be as follows:

  • Start the Program in July
  • Write and pass Level I in December
  • Write and pass Level II in June of the next year
  • Write and pass Level III in June of the following year
